I’m not sure about rich, but it does make me happy!
It looks something like broccoli because it is a broccoli crossed with Chinese broccoli, which somehow gives it the very best traits from each. It tastes like a mild broccoli that doesn’t get bitter or woody (even the stems are crunchy and juicy).
This cross is very similar to the broccolini™ but that, I believe, has yellow flowers while this has white (which I think goes nicely with its delicate nature). If you happen to have flowers on yours, don’t worry, they are edible and not at all hot – I munched on a few to make sure.
